About
Flexitron is a non-commerical artist-run project space with a core programme that centres around supporting emerging artists, acting as an incubator for ideas, exhibitions and projects away from the commercial sphere.

Founded in 2007, Flexitron evolved out of the collaborative practice between artist Andie Scott and architect James Engel. The gallery space initially acted as a testing ground for the ideas and projects of their respective practices, and later began inviting other creative practitioners to put on exhibitions, installations, events and protestations.

Beginning in the autumn of 2023, Flexitron is running a more continuous, expansive programme, providing opportunities for early career artists to put on artist-led exhibitions. Central to this is a core programme of four exhibitions led by an artist/creative with each invited artist selecting their co-exhibitors, alongside shorter run interlude shows and events.
